Thomas "TJ" Hance

I love my job and appreciate being able to work with fiscally responsible families and small business owners. As a parent of three awesome kids who hang on my every word, appreciate my fashion sense, and love my dad jokes, I know how important it is to protect them financially should something happen to me. As a former small business owner, I understand the risks and rewards associated with being an entrepreneur and work with clients to create individualized solutions while offering honest, comprehensive advice. No matter what hat I am wearing I try my best to lead by example and educate every step of the way.

I am also an Allied Member and a Board Member of the Restaurant Association of Maryland. Being able to give back to an industry that taught me how to multitask, to practice patience with others, and to NEVER judge a book by its cover has been very cool. Seeing how hard the women and men at the Association work behind the scenes to help make sure that every business owner and hospitality worker has a voice in an industry that is so vital to Maryland's economy is awe inspiring.

When I am not protecting my clients from peril and preparing them for retirement, I can be found taking orders from my six-year-old. I also really enjoy cooking, reading, running, and making random Monty Python references.
