Ryan Behnken
Ryan Behnken brings a rare and valuable perspective to financial planning—one shaped by over 18 years in the industry and his service as a Police Officer. With a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Towson University (2005) and an MBA from the University of Maryland University College (2016), Ryan combines academic insight with real-world experience on the front lines.
As a law enforcement officer, Ryan understands firsthand the financial challenges that first responders face: unpredictable schedules, high-stress environments, early retirement considerations, and the tendency to put personal financial planning on the back burner. His experience in uniform gives him a deep sense of responsibility, discipline, and empathy—qualities he brings to every client relationship.
He’s passionate about educating others on the fundamentals of cash flow, saving, and building long-term financial security—especially for those who protect and serve. Ryan’s mission is to be a trusted resource for his fellow officers, first responders, and their families—helping them navigate financial decisions with clarity and confidence.
Ryan holds his FINRA Series 6, 63, & 65; he is a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative with Equity Services, Inc. offering securities and investment advisory services in Maryland & New York. He is also life and health insurance licensed in the state of MD, NY, PA & VA.
