Matthew Parks

Matt is passionate about helping individuals, families and business owners achieve their financial goals through comprehensive investment strategies, financial planning and retirement planning. He is dedicated to guiding clients with clarity and confidence as they work toward their long-term financial security for themselves and their legacy.

Matt was born and raised in Parkville, Maryland, graduating from the Gilman School participating in Lacrosse and Football. After High School, he graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park where he was a member of the lacrosse team playing in every game for the Terps during his four-year career, leading the team in goals both his junior and senior years.

After college, Matt worked in sales and management for the family screen print and embroidery business before entering the financial industry while also coaching lacrosse at the high school and collegiate level. He first started coaching high school lacrosse at Fallston High School for 2 separate stints. During his time as the head coach at Fallston, he led his teams to 5 State Championships and 10 Conference Championships. For his accomplishments he was inducted into the Fallston Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023 and the Maryland State Lacrosse Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2025. In between his stints at Fallston, Matt was an assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Washington College. Matt currently serves as the defensive coordinator and assistant coach at Goucher College.

Matt is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his wife Trista, who is a school teacher in Baltimore County, his son Grayson and their two Labrador Retrievers.

Matt is FINRA Series 6, Series 63 and Series 65 licensed and offers securities in MD, VA and NC. He is life & health insurance licensed in MD, DE, DC, NC, PA, SD, VA, and WV.
